My name is Dan Thomas and I have done multiple postdoctoral research positions in the field of cosmology (postdoctoral researcher means that I’d already done my PhD, but I wasn’t yet important or lucky enough to be a lecturer). I have now taken a slightly different direction, and I am the UK data centre manager for a big CMB experiment called Simons Observatory.
